Construction and Convergence Analysis on Iterative Algorithms for Solving Nonliear Equations

The nonlinear equations often arise from many practical problems such as elliptic type boundary value problem, integral equation, minimization of the variation etc. So it very important in scientific computing to solve these problems efficiently. In this talk, we will mainly investigate some theoretical research in two aspects: one is how to construct iterative algorithm with high-order convergence for solving nonlinear equations; Another is how to guarantee the convergence of the iteration. Finally we will give some numerical examples to illustrate the efficiency of the algorithms.
